Course Summary

Our comprehensive Advanced Laser training course includes extensive classroom and hands-on laser training. Students will learn the physics behind laser and light therapy to perform laser treatments using any machine in any setting.

Topics covered include laser hair removal, laser skin rejuvenation, the treatment of small veins and pigmentation. Important considerations such as skin typing, skin preparation prior to laser resurfacing, treatment of complications, and contraindications are an integral part of the course. Students will gain an extensive understanding of client selection, treatment protocols, and the unique pairing of skin types to appropriate treatment options. Ablative and nonablative laser techniques, Fractionated Lasers, Hair Removal Lasers, Intense Pulse Light (IPL) devices and radio frequency will be covered.
